water, the vital fluidWhen we think of water we can almost feel its coolness. The precious vital fluid that sustains life on our planet has the power to heal, nourish and relax. The Romans used it in their ritual baths and the Turks in their steam baths.

Since ancient times water has been used in rituals for health, beauty and wellness. Whether immersing in water, surrounding vapor or feeling energized in the shower, the water is easier to cure.

Using water for beauty and wellness

Immerse feet in warm or hot is a recipe from our grandmothers. After a hard day dipping your feet in warm water with few drops of lavender oil to help eliminate stress. By immersing the feet in water are, as they say in the Club Med, “dissolving stress.”

If you use soaps with essential oils or natural soaps and a good sponge (loofah), either natural or plastic can remove dead skin cells while increasing circulation.
