If women’s magazines are quick to speak of incontinence, all women dare not even discuss this issue with their doctor …

Urinary leakage, not so easy to talk about!

For nearly 8 in 10 women, urinary leakage are still taboo … even for those who have experienced these problems and have been healed. Yet more support for early, more treatment will be effective. A good reason to permanently remove all un said.

Today there are many solutions to improve the quality of life significantly and even cure urinary leakage. The therapeutic arsenal is comprehensive and each must find a solution to its problems of leakage. Yet, few women know. Rehabilitation is known by more than 70% of them. However, they are less than one in two to know that healthy living can improve their situation and even less about treatments such as surgical bandages or bladder pacemaker.

Pessimism … to support emergency!

We know that incontinence can be treated and yet these women imagine that this is not the case and those who suffer in silence are the worst. Indeed nearly one in four women victims of urinary leakage think it is possible to treat less than 25% of cases of incontinence. Fortunately, those who were cured are much more realistic. More than half of them know that incontinence can be cured in 75 to 100% of cases.

The survey make it urgent and important to dare talk about these issues. Nearly 30% of women surveyed who experience urinary leakage are incontinent for over 5 years and 26% of them for over 2 years. They also know the daily urinary leakage and frequent. For them, these leaks are a daily embarrassment (40%), and classified as disabling or incapacitating (25%). Leaks are not without consequences for their social life, intimate and friendly. A real good reason to move the door to your doctor if you are concerned.

General practitioners, gynecologists, and urologists are your allies

The survey reveals that in more than one in two women have never discussed their problems with their doctor. When the subject came up, it is they who have taken the first step more than nine times out of ten. Shame and embarrassment to explain these silences heavy consequences.

The results of this survey are exclusive encouragement for all women who suffer from incontinence and bladder weakness. Perineal rehabilitation in bladder pacemaker, it is now possible to live better incontinence see no longer be at all. For that, one way: talk to her doctor, consult a specialist, discuss various treatment options and after deciding to take action.
